What is nooklet?
nooklet is a private child communication journal for parents. It helps families capture words, audio clips, photos, routines, and everyday context, especially the small moments that are hard to remember later.
What it does
It brings together a few things that usually live in separate apps: a journal of what your child says and does, a soundboard and routines in a parent’s own voice, gentle pattern-finding, and family coordination, in one calm place, on your device.
Who it’s for
Engaged parents who want to remember and understand their young child’s communication. It can be useful for many families, including families of autistic children, gestalt language processors, AAC users, and children who benefit from predictable routines and familiar voices.
What it is not
nooklet is not a diagnostic, therapy, assessment, or behaviour-modification tool, and not a surveillance or advertising product. It describes and reflects what you observe; it does not score, rank, predict, or compare children.
How your data is handled
Local-first by default: your child’s journal lives on your phone. Family sharing is end-to-end encrypted, AI runs on the device, and nothing is sold or used to train models. See the privacy notes.
